If you already have a creator you work with or one you want to keep in mind, you can manually add them to your Contacts as a creator or a prospect. When you manually add a contact, you can also include links to their social network profiles, tags to organize them, and include them in an Activation you've made.
What You'll Need
- Capacity in your Contacts > Creators or Contacts > Prospects rosters. If you are at full capacity in one of them, you won't be able to add more creators there. You can check your capacity from your Account > Account Details.
How to Do It
- Navigate to Contacts > Creators or Contacts > Prospects depending on the relationship stage you'd like to add your contact to.
- In your table's toolbar:
- Select Add Creators > Add a Creator if you're in the Creators table.
- Select Add Prospects > Add a Prospect if you're in the Prospects table.
- Complete the following fields:
- Email Address: The email to contact the creator at.
- First Name: The creator's first name to be displayed in GRIN. This will also be used to update GRIN snippets, such as email variables, that use creators' first names. This field is required.
- Last Name: The creator's last name to be displayed in GRIN. This will also be used to update GRIN snippets, such as email variables, that use creators' last names.
- Add Networks: Select the creators' active social networks and add their profile URLs.
Note
Even if you manually enter a creator's URL for social networks, the creator may still need to connect their accounts on their Live Sites in order for GRIN to automatically pull in their content and metrics. We recommend creators check their Live Sites to confirm their profiles are properly connected.
- Advanced Settings: Customize additional settings for the creator.
- Activation: Add the creator to an existing Activation. For more information, see Creating an Activation.
- Relationship Stage: Set a relationship stage for the creator.
- Initial Tag(s): Assign tags to the creator. For more information, see Managing tags.
- Add a Manager or Agent: Assign a primary contact for this creator. This is only available when adding a contact to the Creators table. For more information, see Assigning managers to creators.
- Advanced Settings: Customize additional settings for the creator.
- Select Create.
Your creator should now appear as either a Creator or a Prospect in GRIN.
