Setting Up GRIN Notifications

With GRIN, you can set up notifications for events such as new content, new proposals, or new applications. This way, you can stay up-to-date with your programs from anywhere! 

Currently, GRIN supports activity notifications with: 

• Slack
• Email

What You'll Need

• An existing Slack account if you want Slack notifications.
• An existing email account if you want email notifications.

How to Do It

To access your notification settings, navigate to Account > Settings > Notifications. From here, you'll be able to configure notifications for both Slack and email. Follow the steps in each corresponding section below to do so. 

Slack Notifications

1. If you're not already integrated with Slack, select the Connect button in the Account Notifications module. Otherwise, skip to Step 3.
2. Log in to your Slack Workspace and choose a channel to send notifications to.
3. Select each type of notification you'd like to receive from the list that appears. 
4. Select Save Settings.

You will now receive Slack messages for your selected notifications. 

Email Notifications

1. In the Your Notifications module, select Enable email notifications.
2. Enter your email in the Email Address field that appears. 
3. Select each type of notification you'd like to receive from the list that appears. 
4. Select Save Settings.

You will now receive emails for your selected notifications.
