User Roles and Permissions

GRIN has multiple user roles, each with their own levels of access to the GRIN platform and permissions. Currently, the user roles are: 

  • Admin 
  • User
  • Finance Admin

Admin Role

Admins have the most permissions out of all the user roles and can change other users’ app permissions. Admins can:

  • Access the full GRIN platform.
  • View and manage their Account Settings, including: 
    • Their own User Profile
    • Their own Security settings
  • View and manage Integration Settings.
  • Enable and manage White Labeling Settings (if the account has purchased these addons)
  • View and manage Organization Settings, including:
    • Company information
    • Teams information and assignments
    • Users information, including viewing, adding, editing, and deleting users
    • Domain Management
  • View and manage Billing Settings, including:
    • Creator Funds Deposit information
    • Subscription information
    • Saved Payment Methods

Admins are not able to change their role as an Admin to another user role. They also cannot remove their own role.

User Role

Users are able to access the GRIN platform, but have limited permissions. Users can:

  • Access the full GRIN platform.
  • View and manage their Account Settings, including:
    • Their own User Profile
    • Their own Security settings
  • View and manage Integration Settings.
  • Enable and manage White Labeling Settings (if the account has purchased these addons) 
  • View and manage Billing Settings, including:
    • Creator Funds Deposit information
    • Subscription information
    • Saved Payment Methods

Finance Admin Role

Finance Admins have limited access to the GRIN platform and permissions. Finance Admins are users who only manage the finances on the GRIN account. Finance Admins can: 

  • View and manage their Account Settings, including: 
    • Their own User Profile
    • Their own Security settings 
  • View and manage Billing Settings, including: 
    • Creator Funds Deposit information 
    • Subscription information 
    • Saved Payment Methods 
  • View a list of all users on the GRIN account.

Customizable Permissions

The following table describes all the customizable permissions each user role can have. These permissions can be enabled or disabled when adding a user for the first time or editing their permissions.

Allows users to connect their email addresses to GRIN and send emails from GRIN.

Allows users to export CSV files from tables within GRIN.
