With the Messages Dashboard, you can get a quick summary of how many emails you've sent over time, confirm if your scheduled emails were sent out, and ensure your creator outreach is proceeding as you expect.

How to Do It

The Dashboard has two parts:

  • The Emails Sent Over Time graph.
  • The Sent Emails table.

You can use each part to learn more about how your creator outreach is going.

Note

The data in the Dashboard is only based on emails sent from your GRIN inbox. If you send emails with the same inbox you integrated with outside of GRIN, those will not be shown in the Dashboard.

Emails Sent Graph

The Dashboard's emails sent over time graph displays your email trends over the past four quarters. This can be useful for quickly assessing which times of the year had a lot of outreach for your program or had less than what you expected.

 You can toggle different settings on the graph to display different views:

  • Graph Type: Select these icons to switch between different types of graphs.
  • Graph Data: Select Direct, Scheduled, or Sequenced to toggle their display on the graph. You can toggle on more than one at a time to compare their trends at once.

Sent Emails Table

The Dashboard's Sent Emails table gives you a summary of your sent email history. There are four tables you can switch between:

  • Scheduled Emails: Shows emails that you previously scheduled that have been successfully sent to their recipients.
  • Sequence Emails: Shows emails that were successfully sent that were part of an Email Sequence. This table also lets you filter by Sequence Name and Type of email.
  • Recently Sent: Shows all emails that were recently sent from your GRIN account.
  • Failed to Send: Shows any emails that failed to send, as well as an accompanying error.

You can hover over each row in a table to view various row actions: 

  • View Message: See a preview of the email that was sent or is going to be sent. This appears in all tables.
  • Send Now: Immediately send the email. This only appears in Scheduled Emails or Sequence Emails.
  • Delete: Removes the email and keeps it from sending. This only appears in Scheduled Emails
  • Remove from Sequence: Removes the creator as a recipient of the email. This only appears in Sequence Emails.
