Do creators get notified when their link is clicked or they make a sale?
No. GRIN does not send creators an automatic notification for individual link clicks or individual sales. There is no per-click or per-order alert on the creator side.
What you can give creators is visibility into their own results. If you enable the Insights tab, a creator can see their link visits, total conversions, conversion rate, and commissions (both outstanding and paid) on their Live Site. It does not show the specific items or orders behind each sale, only the conversion counts and what they have earned.
What a creator needs to see Insights
- An assigned affiliate link or discount code. Without at least one, the Insights tab will not appear.
- A verified Live Site.
- Affiliate tracking set up on your account.
How to enable Insights (brand side)
- Click your profile picture in the main navigation, then select Settings.
- Open the Insights section.
- Turn on the Insights tab for creators' Live Site dashboards.

Note: The Notifications settings in your account control brand-side alerts such as new proposals, applications, and messages sent to you or your team, not creator sale alerts.
