GRIN now supports Bank Transfer payouts for creators globally. This new method provides broader geographic coverage and a more seamless setup experience.
β
If you currently use PayPal, you can switch to Bank Transfer at any time before March 2, when PayPal will be fully removed.
How to Switch to Bank Transfer
Log in to your creator portal (LiveURL).
Navigate to the Payouts tab.
Select + Add Payment Method, choose Bank Transfer.
Select your Country
This is a critical step to determine the necessary currency or currency conversion steps that will be taken to ensure successful fund deposits
Enter your bank account details:
Full account holder name (no initials)
Bank account number or IBAN
Routing / BIC / SWIFT information as required
Address details in Roman characters (required globally)
Save your details.
Make sure Bank Transfer shows as your Active payout method.
You do not need to remove PayPal manually. Selecting Bank Transfer automatically prioritizes it until PayPal is removed on March 2.
If You Encounter an Error or a failed payment
If a payment fails, you will be notified by [email protected] via email with a reason for the payment failure and steps to resolve.
If additional verification is required, you will receive a secure request from our compliance partner requesting clarification or documents (e.g., proof of address or ID). This is no different from the processes used to ensure the successful setup of PayPal in the past. You will receive an email from [email protected] similar to the example below which will indicate the action required from your end and how to complete the steps to resolve any issues.
Some common issues include:
Invalid account number
IBAN required
Missing Date of Birth
Recipient or bank address incomplete
Account holder name contains initials
Company name listed on an individual profile
Bank Transfer Fee & Timeline for Payment Information
Grin currently covers all fees for Brands when sending bank transfer payments to creators.
When paying a creator from USD to USD there are no fees incurred by the Brand or the creator unless it is via a USD to USD Swift wire in which case there may be landing fees at the creators bank.
When paying creators in any international currency, the creators payment will incur a foreign exchange conversion rate which can include a 2% margin on the exchange rate (creators will see the exchange rate used to convert their payout from USD to their local currency).
Creators will receive a payment confirmation email which will indicate the exchange rate used and a timeline for when they can expect the payment (shown below)
What Happens on March 2
PayPal will be removed entirely from the payout options.
Any PayPal information you previously saved will be deleted.
Any pending PayPal payments will be canceled and will need to be reissued by the brand once your bank details are added. Making the switch to Bank Transfer before March 2, 2026, is the best way to ensure this is not a factor for you.
All new payouts must be sent via Bank Transfer.
